Steve Carbone: When I'm coaching my son's football team.

Steve Carbone: Steve Carbone, Chief Digital and Investment Officer from Mediacom North America
Interviewer: Why did you get into this business?
Steve Carbone: I was an artist and a painter growing up,
and I thought that getting into advertising would be the best way to continue that.
Interviewer: What did you used to paint?
Steve Carbone: I used to paint a lot of portraits, and a
lot of landscapes.
Interviewer: What's the best professional wisdom anyone
has ever given you?
Steve Carbone: That the only constant is change.
Interviewer: What would I be surprised to find on your desk?
Steve Carbone: Nothing. I don't have a desk.
Interviewer: What's the biggest misperception people have about you?
Steve Carbone: They think of me as a tough Brooklyn kid,
but I'm really just a teddy bear.
Interviewer: What is your professional super power?
Steve Carbone: Optimism.
Interviewer: When you hit a creative block, how do you
unstick yourself?
Steve Carbone: I usually play with my kids.
Interviewer: When was the last time you set out to learn something new?
Steve Carbone: I learned how to play chess.
Interviewer: Which habit have you had to break to become a more effective leader?
Steve Carbone: To learn to let go.
Interviewer: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Steve Carbone: On a boat in Florida breeding tropical fish.
